Introduction:
You will be responsible for supporting the payroll of several countries in Asia.
Your Job:
End-to-End Processing: Manage monthly payroll cycles for local employees, overseeing salary calculations, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.
Statutory Compliance: Calculate and process mandatory statutory contributions (Labor Insurance, National Health Insurance, and Labor Pension).
Tax Administration: Handle employee income tax withholding (e.g., filings with the National Taxation Bureau), deductions, and annual tax reconciliations.
Data Auditing & Analysis: Reconcile payroll data against attendance and leave systems. Analyze payroll trends, resolve mismatches, and prepare financial and headcount reports for management.
Policy Guidance: Advise internal stakeholders on local labor standards (like overtime caps and leave provisions)
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting.
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience, with a strong preference for individuals who have worked across Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan payroll.
Regulatory Expertise: Robust knowledge of the Taiwan Labor Standards Act (LSA), specifically regarding factory work hours, statutory holiday pay, and overtime calculation rules.
Technical Proficiency: High level of skill in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Experience with major HRIS and manufacturing time-attendance software (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) is highly preferred.
Language Skills: Professional fluency in Mandarin and English to communicate across plant floors and coordinate with global or regional headquarters.
