Responsibilities:
- Processing operational payments, both manually and ensuring the successful processing of automated payments
- Posting manual deposits, reconciling clients' funding accounts, and resolving intercompany issues
- Review of all settlement and authorization exceptions in a timely manner across all banking and issuer partners
- Daily monitoring our ticketing system and actioning tickets in an accurate and efficient manner
- Cards and funding accounts investigations
- Other reports as requested on an ad-hoc basis
- Overseeing the accuracy of card monitors and investigating/resolving monitor-related issues. Promptly escalate any issues to the Senior analyst if unable to resolve
- Collaborating with internal and external departments as necessary
- Contributing to ongoing improvement, documentation, and maintenance of internal processes
- Investigating and addressing payment processing and flow of funds issues on client accounts or cards
- Perform any other duties that may be reasonably assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within payments will be considered an asset
- Conversant with a strong interest in both IT and Finance
- Previous experience with databases and SQL is an asset
- Results orientated, proactive and can-do attitude
- Good stakeholder management experience
- Strong work ethic, good judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
- The ability to represent Nium and our values excellently
- Problem solver and experience working with cross functional teams across multiple time zones
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office computer applications, with a very good command of Excel spreadsheets.
