Currently the Viatris Carole Park Finance team is recruiting for an Analyst – Operations Finance to join the team! This role will be based at our Carole Park operations site.
Key duties of the Analyst – Operations Finance team include but are not limited to:
- Perform inventory valuation, obsolescence analysis and SAP Product Costing activities, including standard cost maintenance and Material Ledger processes.
- Ensure accurate, reliable and compliant inventory and product costing information.
- Maintain robust SOX and inventory controls, including transaction monitoring, reconciliations and investigations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate analysis, documentation and financial information.
- Deliver accurate Month-End and Quarter-End activities, including journals, accruals, reclassifications and General Ledger reconciliations.
- Provide meaningful analysis and insights to support local and global business decision-making.
- Support forecasting and budgeting activities across operational costs, inventory and product costing.
- Build and maintain Cost Accounting and Product Costing capability to meet evolving business requirements.
- Contribute to processes, systems and controls improvements to enhance efficiency, data integrity and the quality of financial information.
To be considered for this role candidates should possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar;
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or product-based environment is highly desirable;
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with advanced Excel capability.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP FI/CO modules are highly desirable;
- Time management, prioritisation and organisation skills across a number of deliverables;
- Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to present information effectively and outstanding attention to detail;
- Ability to innovate, challenge existing processes and find solutions;
