POSITION PROFILE
The Office Print Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Ricoh’s Office Print strategy by delivering deep analytical insights that uncover risks and opportunities, identified performance trends, and guides strategic and operational decision‑making. This role provides the advanced analytical foundation needed to align regional/global strategic priorities with real market conditions, customer behaviors, and competitive pressures.
Through rigorous trend analysis, KPI measurement, and data‑driven storytelling, this position informs key stakeholders across Commercial Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Portfolio Management, Supply Chain, Finance, and Global teams. The Office Print Business Analyst transforms raw data from internal and external data sources, analyst reviews, surveys, and other related mediums into actionable insights, enabling leaders to optimize commercial execution, improve initiative performance, anticipate market shifts, and strengthen overall Office Print business results.
This position is also responsible for advanced business performance analytics, initiative measurement, predictive KPI modeling, and comprehensive market/customer/competitor analysis. Through these activities, clear targets will be set for all strategic actions and initiatives, then performance will be measured against those targets. By delivering high‑quality reporting and concise recommendations, this role ensures transparency in results, supports business agility, and drives continuous improvement informed by data across the Office Print business.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing, advanced data trend analysis and root‑cause assessments to identify emerging opportunities, risks, and performance drivers across the Office Print business
- Quantify goals and expected results of strategic initiatives based on Total Addressable Market, timing, price elasticity, key priorities and external forces that may impact results
- Measure the performance and impact of strategic initiatives, providing clear insights and recommendations to optimize outcomes and drive meaningful business change
- Build and maintain detailed KPI reporting dashboards and predictive models to forecast future performance and guide proactive decision‑making
- Align market, customer, and competitor analysis efforts, synthesizing insights into clear, actionable presentations for key stakeholders
- Partner closely with Sales, Strategic Pricing, Portfolio Management, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support cross‑functional planning and ensure data‑driven alignment
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that improve business transparency, enhance governance cadence, and support executive‑level communication
- Provide scenario analysis, trend interpretation, and insight-driven recommendations that inform product, pricing, channel, and commercial strategies
- Continuously monitor industry dynamics, market shifts, and competitive moves to keep stakeholders informed and aligned
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
- Four‑year college degree in business, analytics, economics, data science or equivalent experience required
- Proven experience in a commercial, financial, strategy, or business analytics role
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with ability to interpret complex datasets and translate insights into action
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting insights to cross‑functional and executive audiences
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization, analytics tools, and KPI performance measurement
- Strong collaboration skills in a matrixed, cross‑functional business environment
- Minimum of 4 or more years of related business or analytics experience preferred
- Experience working with market, customer, or competitive intelligence a plus

Working Conditions, MENTAL aND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level
- Work has cyclical stress due to frequent goals and deadlines, and daily stress due to the responsibility associated with the incumbents’ decisions, outcomes and potential outcomes
- Work is mostly sedentary, but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weight less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.)
- Requires moderate dexterity; regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools)
- Requires periodic customer site visits whose locations may or may not be serviced by public transportation
