Summary:
In this role, you will research, assimilate, and analyze detailed information to identify opportunities for standardization and cost reductions for numerous healthcare facilities and provide direct support to colleagues by interpreting and summarizing results. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, as well as other analysts to provide a combination of analytical expertise, project management, and contracting support.
Responsibilities:

Perform complex data analyses and research based on healthcare supply chain purchases to contract pricing in medical surgical products and services to produce recommendations and identify opportunities for cost savings, standardization, and efficiencies.

Research and identify relevant data sources; incorporate understanding of business drivers into analysis.

Support the delivery of customized analyses, leveraging internal and external, raw and/or published data, as well as structured and unstructured datasets.

Define requirement dashboards and reports that enable information sharing with stakeholders.

Prepare analysis and related recommendations in accordance to established guidelines or client needs; communicate outcomes back to internal and external audiences.

Present recommendations to manager and provide guidance based on findings

Assist with planning and participate in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and / or understand current business processes.

Develop and maintain datasets. Design and create analytical tools, charts, graphs, tables, and reports to support findings and develop recommendations.
Qualifications:

Relevant degree preferred.

2 or more years of data analysis experience required. Experience working with healthcare and/or supply chain data strongly preferred.

Knowledge of procurement, bid and contracting process within a hospital is preferred.

Knowledge and experience working with suppliers in the healthcare supply, capital, and purchased services market is a plus.

Strong project management, organizational skills and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Advanced computer skills and knowledge of applications including, but not limited to, MS Office Applications (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint).

Ability to learn and teach others on internal databases and platforms.

Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $82,900.00.
This position is also incentive eligible.
