The Analyst, Marketing (Data & Customer Intelligence) Analyst drives data-driven decision making across Marketing by owning reporting, customer intelligence, segmentation analysis, campaign measurement, and performance insights while serving as the primary business user of Braze, Snowflake, Power BI, and customer data assets. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owns and maintains the marketing reporting ecosystem across various marketing, digital, and customer analytics platforms to ensure accurate and timely reporting of key business and marketing metrics.
  • Develops and maintains executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and recurring reports to measure performance across acquisition, engagement, retention, customer growth, and profitability initiatives.
  • Defines performance measurement frameworks and reporting standards that support strategic business objectives and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyzes campaign, customer, website, channel, and customer journey performance to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for optimization.
  • Supports Monthly Business Reviews, executive presentations, management meetings, and Board reporting requirements by providing insightful analyses and performance updates.
  • Performs customer intelligence analyses focused on customer behavior, engagement trends, lifecycle performance, and product utilization patterns.
  • Develops customer segmentation analyses and audience recommendations to support acquisition, onboarding, cross-sell, upsell, and retention strategies.
  • Identifies business opportunities and emerging trends through customer, transactional, and behavioral data analysis.
  • Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of customer segmentation strategies and marketing initiatives through performance tracking and reporting.
  • Acts as Marketing’s steward for customer and marketing data by helping maintain data governance standards, audience definitions, business rules, and KPI documentation.
  • Validates data quality, reconciles reporting outputs, and ensures consistency and accuracy across dashboards, reports, and analytical models.
  • Partners with Data & Analytics and Technology teams to enhance customer data environments and support Customer 360 initiatives and marketing-related data requirements.
  • Analyzes campaign and customer journey performance across multiple communication channels, including email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging, web, and digital experiences.
  • Supports testing and optimization initiatives, including A/B testing programs, audience analysis, and performance measurement efforts.
  • Performs periodic analyses of market conditions, customer trends, economic factors, competitive environments, and growth opportunities to support business decision making.
  • Develops reports and analytical models to evaluate profitability, return on investment (ROI), customer value, product performance, and strategic business initiatives.
  • Translates marketing and customer performance data into actionable business insights and recommendations for Growth, Brand, Product Marketing, Internal Communications, and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Presents findings, recommendations, and analytical insights to management and business stakeholders.
  • Provides support for new projects, strategic initiatives, and special analyses as requested.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, or related fields required.
  • Four (4) to seven (7) years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Customer Intelligence, Business Intelligence, CRM Analytics, Digital Analytics, Financial Analysis, or a related analytical field required. Experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly desirable.
  • Minimum education and experience required may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written) required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word required.
  • Strong experience with data visualization, dashboard development, reporting, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Power Query, AWS QuickSight, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms required.
  • Experience working with customer segmentation methodologies, performance measurement frameworks, and data-driven marketing strategies required.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data warehouse environments is highly desirable. Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), CRM analytics platforms, and digital analytics tools is highly desirable.
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms, customer journey analytics, campaign performance measurement, and customer engagement solutions is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills required.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations and strategic insights required.
  • Strong attention to detail, business acumen, data storytelling, and stakeholder management skills required.
