- Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per year
MES Implementation & Execution
- Lead the implementation and execution of MES services and procedures across manufacturing operations
- Configure, maintain, and support MES platforms (e.g., FunnelCloud) to ensure system stability and uptime
- Translate business requirements into MES solutions and validate technical feasibility
- Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and deployments aligned with plant and global standards
Business Analysis & System Design
- Gather and analyze business requirements from plant stakeholders
- Propose and design technical MES concepts that support manufacturing processes
- Develop functional specifications, workflows, and system interfaces
- Ensure solutions align with Magna Global IT standards and architecture
Integration & ERP Alignment
- Coordinate integration between MES and ERP systems (e.g., Epicor CMS, SAP)
- Support synchronization of data between shop-floor systems and enterprise applications
- Maintain master data structures and ensure data consistency across systems
Plant Floor & Operational Support
- Act as primary escalation point for MES-related issues impacting production and quality
- Support real-time manufacturing technologies (scanners, HMIs, labeling systems, traceability tools)
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve operational issues
- Ensure accurate capture of production metrics (OEE, downtime, scrap, traceability)
Data Integrity & Reporting
- Ensure integrity, availability, and accuracy of manufacturing data
- Support reporting and analytics solutions (e.g., Power BI, MES dashboards)
- Provide insights into KPIs including efficiency, downtime, and quality performance
Network & Infrastructure Collaboration
- Partner with IT infrastructure teams to support connectivity across OT/IT environments
- Assist with troubleshooting network-related issues impacting MES and plant devices
- Support deployment of industrial technologies within secure and reliable environments
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure MES solutions comply with corporate IT standards, cybersecurity policies, and audit requirements
- Support compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards
- Maintain documentation including procedures, configurations, and change records
- Continuously adhere to and apply the Magna Employee's Charter, the Magna Corporate Constitution, and the Magna Operational Principles in all aspects of position and interaction with others.
- Effective use of MAGNA STRUCTURES MEADOWVALE's Escalation Process.
- Promotes divisional values as well as contributes towards meeting long term goals of company.
- Observes all Federal/Provincial Regulations including standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act as well as Policies and Procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook

Skills and Competencies:
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of MES platforms (FunnelCloud preferred)
- Experience with ERP integrations (Epicor CMS, SAP, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of system integration, data flows, and databases (SQL)
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Network & Infrastructure
- Working knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, Wi-Fi)
- Understanding of OT/IT environments and industrial system connectivity

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Industry 4.0 initiatives (OEE, IIoT, automation, data integration)
- Exposure to OT cybersecurity tools (e.g., Claroty)
- Experience with manufacturing traceability and labeling systems
