Analyst/Jr Data Analyst, Marketing

Job Description:

We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and motivated Jr. Data Analyst, Marketing to join our growing analytics team. This entry-level role is a great opportunity for someone eager to dive into marketing data, learn analytical tools, and make an impact by supporting campaign performance reporting, customer insights, and channel optimization. You'll work closely with marketing, data, and IT teams to help ensure we’re making data-informed decisions that drive growth and positively improve the customer experience. This role is a part of the Growth Marketing function within the marketing department, directly reporting into the Lead Marketing Data Analyst.   

What You’ll Do 

Campaign Reporting & Insights

• Support the development of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports on marketing campaign performance across channels (email, paid media, web, etc.)
• Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.

Data Preparation & Analysis

• Pull, clean, and organize data from various sources using tools like SQL, Excel, or dashboards.
• Support analysts in building and maintaining key marketing datasets.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with lead analysts and marketers to gather requirements, understand goals, and deliver actionable insights.
• Help prepare presentations and reports for internal teams.

Tool & Process Support

• Assist in updating dashboards and automating recurring reports using BI tools (e.g., Databricks, Funnel.io, Power BI).
• Ensure data accuracy and help maintain documentation of marketing analytics processes.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 0–2 years of experience in a data, marketing, or business-related role (internships welcome)
• Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and an interest in learning SQL or other query languages
• Strong attention to detail, with solid organizational and time management skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of marketing analytics
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams

Preferred:

• Exposure to analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau, or similar
• Coursework or training in statistics, data science, marketing, or business
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts (e.g., paid media, CRM, customer funnels)
