To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Analyst, IT Operations located in Guadalajara, North.

Reporting to Sr Manager, IT, Analyst, IT Operations role will work with solution owners, designers, vendor support and compute team to determine the scope and need for data virtualization and visualization tools.

What a typical day looks like:

• In this role you will be responsible for Install, set up security in Tableau and Denodo Application
• Setting technical strategy, and direction around Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Virtualization, visualization, and Analytics for enterprise business data.
• Setup/configuration of distributed Tableau and Denodo environment with SSO
• Address technical, integration, sizing, and general feature/functionality issues of the product
• Diagnose issues, performance checks, and Work with Denodo technical support to address outstanding issues
• Implement governance processes, and best practice documentation and build internal knowledgebase for Denodo users.
• Review usage and adoption of best practices.
• Establish load balancing, caching, and backups, and conduct DR drills. Automate regular administration activities.
• Review the latest release and plan on upgrading existing platforms
• Right-sizing the application to a build predictable environment
• Implementation of proactive monitoring through an early alerting mechanism using log analytics tools like ELK, Dynatrace
• Experience in automation of backup, restore, and other housekeeping activities
• Collaborate and lead upgrade efforts, user escalations, and working with vendors to resolve them
• Accountable for creating Standard Operations Procedure
• Ability to analyze patterns and some level of knowledge in databases
• Ability to automate tasks reducing manual effort
• Diagnose issues, performance checks and Work with Tableau technical support to address outstanding issues

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Tableau and Denodo Application
• Experience with application administration on Linux/Unix and Windows Operating systems.
• Advance English level
• Expertise in working in a clustered server environment is a must.
• Experience with Mobile BI environment and Single sign-on
• Experience in designing security: creating users, groups, and access levels. Grant rights to users and groups on reports, universes, connections, and applications
• Experience in server logs debugging and providing the root cause analysis independently
• Experience with more than one BI tool is a plus
• Knowledge of Phyton Machine learning and AI is a plus.
