POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for trading and investment research and provides additional support to the portfolio managers.
- Executes trades from various staff members who have authority.
- Executes trades from direct third parties.
- Handles settlement issues with brokers and trust operations department.
- Conducts investment research as requested covering various market sectors.
- Collects and aggregates, sector and performance data for marketing and other internal information purposes.
- Supports investment committee and completes tasks as assigned.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.
- Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
- Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Prior finance, accounting or investment experience during college preferred.
- Knowledge of trading systems (i.e., Moxy. Bloomberg, FACTSet).
- Knowledge of investment research methods.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Morningstar or other investment data sources.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word essential.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- CFP/CFA/MBA candidate preferred.
Ability to travel to all locations as well as ability to travel overnight, as needed for meetings, projects, training, seminars, etc.
