Role
SCS is seeking an Analyst to join its growing Investment Analytics team. The SCS Investment Analytics team supports the implementation and ongoing management of the firm’s public and private investment programs in areas of investment data management, portfolio analytics (performance, exposure and risk reporting), investment manager onboarding, and operational support. The Analyst position offers diversified experience across these functional areas of a complex investment advisory firm and interaction with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. The Analyst will contribute to many aspects of the team’s responsibilities, including execution of investment subscription, commitment and redemption documents, managing fund-level AML/KYC processes, entry of investment activity data into portfolio monitoring systems, and contributing to the review of investment and fund performance analytics.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manager Onboarding: Support the onboarding of new public and private investment managers/funds to the SCS investment program, including execution of commitment/subscription/redemption documents and inputting investment data into portfolio monitoring systems while adhering to various deadlines.
- AML / KYC: Liaise with third-party managers, administrators, legal counsel, etc. on the completion of mandatory fund-level Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, including periodic refreshes.
- Private Investment Fundraising Coordination: Assist with fundraising processes for SCS Private Investment funds, which includes coordinating with the Private Client Group to track client commitments/LP demand in our CRM and providing regular progress updates to the Investment Group to help inform portfolio construction decisions.
- Performance Analytics & Data Management: Contribute to additional Investment Analytics functions, including input/review/analysis of performance data, reporting collateral, and quarterly private fund client communications
- Special Projects: Ad-hoc projects to support various department and firm-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant investment fund manager operations and/or analytics experience, ideally related to alternative investments. Additional qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or other related discipline
- Interest in, and familiarity with, basic wealth management business and alternative investment (hedge funds, private equity, private credit, etc.) concepts
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail
- High energy and highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- iLEVEL and Addepar system knowledge a plus
