Support the Senior Analyst and assist in the formulation of the Bank’s strategies for negotiating international trade and investment agreements and cooperation frameworks. This is to (i) utilise international platforms to facilitate the Bank’s initiatives and objectives, (ii) facilitate the development and implementation of progressive liberalisation in financial services sector, (iii) maintain monetary and financial stability, and (iv) advance national strategic interests.
Responsibilities-
Policy Recommendation
Support the Senior Analyst in shaping financial services policies, safeguarding Malaysia’s economic interests and stability in international negotiations, and coordinating internal policy discussions and advisory functions.

Negotiations, intelligence gathering and advisory
Support negotiations and policy analysis on financial services liberalisation by preparing materials, gathering intelligence, and advising on trade and investment issues to safeguard the Bank’s interests. -
Research and surveillance
Conduct in-depth research and evaluation on trade and investment developments to support Malaysia’s financial services liberalisation strategy and ensure accuracy of related policy analyses and reports. -
Administration, Organisation of Governance Processes, and Event Management of Forums
Deliver high-quality analytical outputs, coordinate workflows and stakeholder consultations, and manage communications and logistics for governance processes and regional engagement forums e.g. ASEAN WC-FSL.
- Academic Qualifications: Honors degree in economics, finance, business studies, political science, law or related discipline.
- Experience: 2 (two) years or more of experience in core role functions within Economics, Development and Regulatory job families would be an advantage.
Skills Required
