The Analyst Import Export is responsible for supporting operational, administrative, and documentation processes related to import and export activities.
This role ensures compliance with IMMEX program requirements and applicable customs regulations in Mexico and the United States, while maintaining accurate control of foreign trade inventory systems.
Prepare and review customs documentation (invoices, pediments, certificates of origin, packing lists, and reports) for import and export operations under IMMEX program requirements.
Coordinate with customs brokers (Mexico and U.S.), carriers, freight forwarders, and shipping departments to ensure accurate and timely documentation for shipments.
Support validation and reconciliation of customs entries against Annex 24 systems and maintain databases aligned with Annex 24 and 30 requirements.
Monitor and follow up on compliance with foreign trade regulations, including trade agreements, non-tariff regulations, and applicable rules.
Compile, review, and archive documentation (physical and electronic) for IMMEX program operations and U.S. customs requirements.
Participate in internal audits related to foreign trade processes, including report preparation and documentation support.
Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or related field
1+ year of experience in import/export or similar roles
Knowledge of import and export processes
Experience with SAT platforms and VUCEM
Experience with Annex 24 systems
Intermediate Excel skills
Knowledge of tariff classifications (preferred)
Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Strong organization and follow-up skills
Proactive mindset with willingness to learn
Teamwork and effective communication skills
Ability to work with goals and deadlines
Intermediate English proficiency (preferred)
