Analyst I, Financial Solutions
Working closely with RICOH’s management teams, this role provides financial and operational analysis in support of projects, strategic planning, and the implementation of process and performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in projects focused on analyzing and improving business and financial performance. The primary objective is to identify opportunities that enhance business unit performance and increase shareholder value.
- Provide financial consulting support to business units in achieving their strategic and operational goals.
- Assist with forecasting and planning activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis at the business unit level.
- Support the development and execution of RICOH’s strategic initiatives and operating plans.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting and finance processes, as well as data quality, through ongoing analysis. Lead improvement initiatives or serve as a consultant to other teams responsible for implementation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information, while interacting professionally and effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience required).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience; financial planning experience preferred.
- Experience using financial systems and applications.
- Strong analytical and operational background.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
- Ability to interpret, analyze, and apply complex data and information, and effectively communicate insights, including technical concepts.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic corporate environment.
- Primarily office-based environment with standard lighting, temperature, and noise levels.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Frequent interaction within the department, with regular collaboration across regions and business units.
- Periodic engagement with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
