What You Will Do:

Responsibilities

1. Independently perform daily sample enrollment and documentation activities, including adding new donations into study databases and charting Index testing results in accordance with established research protocols.

2. Review laboratory notifications applying scientific judgment to determine required sample actions and ensure timely follow-up consistent with study requirements.

3. Organize and prepare charting lists, shipping forms, and test result packets to support accurate study documentation.

4. Enter and validate laboratory test results and received dates reconciling missing, pending or inconsistent data through coordination with laboratory partners.

5. Generate routine research reports (Test Result Summary Report (TRSR)/reentry), update tracking tools, and prepare cases for secondary review.

6. Communicate delays, missing results, and reactive or positive findings; troubleshoot routine database or documentation issues within defined guidelines.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in biology, immunology, microbiology, or a related scientific field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Experience: 1 year of related experience required.

Skills & Abilities: Attention to detail; ability to work on a team

This is on site position at our facility located at 15601 Crabbs Branch Way, Rockville, MD.

Physical Requirements

Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time.
