We are seeking a highly analytical Analyst with 2–5 years of experience to join our Boston office. This role is expected to be based in the Boston office five days per week. You will work directly alongside senior brokers and advisors throughout the full transaction lifecycle from initial underwriting and pitch preparation through due diligence, offering memorandum production, marketing, and closing. This role requires someone who is deeply comfortable with financial modeling, can run Argus with precision, and can produce institutional-quality work product under tight deadlines.
Our Boston Capital Markets team specializes in investment sales, recapitalization, and strategic advisory of office, life science, industrial, retail, multifamily and data center assets across the Greater Boston Metro and throughout New England. The group has completed over $80 billion in transactions over the past decade and operates as a high-performance, deal-intensive team with a strong track record advising institutional owners, developers, and private investors on their most complex dispositions and recapitalizations.
This is a demanding, high-output role suited for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in the quality of their work, and is energized by a fast-paced deal environment. The team works hard and expects the same from everyone on it.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties
Build, own, and stress-test complex financial models for individual assets and portfolios including office, life science, and mixed-use investments
Run Argus Enterprise models as the primary underwriting tool for all assignments - this is a non-negotiable requirement for this role
Assist with full-scope due diligence including lease abstracting, rent roll analysis, income/expense review, title, appraisals, PCAs, and environmental reports
Develop institutional-quality offering memoranda, pitch books, and marketing materials
Research comparable sales, submarket statistics, competitive inventory, lease rates, and capital markets trends across Greater Boston and New England
Coordinate financial analysis with internal teams across departments, markets, and divisions
Support client meetings, property tours, and transaction negotiations
Assist with public records research to identify and qualify prospective assignment opportunities
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the team’s deal activity
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (MBA a plus)
Proficiency in Argus Enterprise is required - candidates without Argus experience will not be considered
2–5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
Prior investment banking or corporate finance experience is strongly preferred, as it reflects the analytical rigor and work ethic this role demands
Expert-level Excel modeling skills with strong command of financial metrics including IRR, NPV, cash-on-cash returns, cap rates, and residual valuations
Ability to produce clean, accurate, and institutional-quality work product under tight deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient technical writing
Full-time, in-office presence at our 225 Franklin Street, Boston location - this role does not accommodate remote or hybrid arrangements
Preferred:
Knowledge of CoStar, Real Estate Capital Analytics, or comparable data platforms
Familiarity with AI-powered research, writing, and productivity platforms; candidates who have meaningfully incorporated these tools into their workflow will stand out
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams

This is an in-office position based at 225 Franklin Street, Boston, MA, five days per week. Given the deal-driven nature of the business.. Candidates should expect and embrace a high-effort environment tied to transaction timelines.
