Primary Responsibilities
- Preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and regulatory guidelines as
may be required.
- Maintaining robust financial controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and transparency
of financial data.
- Coordinating external audit engagements, including preparation of audit schedules and
responses to auditor queries.
- Assessing and implementing the impact of new and revised accounting standards on the
Bank’s reporting and disclosures.
- Assessing the impact of fair value movements on the Bank’s books and ensuring accurate
recognition and disclosure in the financial statements.
- Managing the daily financial activities and transaction processing on Finacle.
- Oversees product setup and general ledger maintenance in alignment with business unit
requirements and CFO directives.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls, finance policies, and regulatory requirements
across all operational finance processes.
RequirementsRequirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 4 - 5 years’ experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial analysis
- Proven experience preparing financial reports and management reports.
- Strong reconciliation skills with the ability to investigate and resolve financial variances.
- Experience supporting month-end reporting and financial close processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and communication skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Interpersonal and conflict management skills
