Join Rabobank's Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Operations team where your work will help protect customers, communities & the integrity of the financial system from financial crime.
We are currently recruiting for 2 x Analyst, Financial Economic Crime Investigations & Suspicious Matter Reporting roles to be based in Sydney. As an Analyst, working alongside & within a team of Investigators & Senior Analysts, you will support the identification, investigation & reporting of potential financial crime activities, including money laundering & other suspicious transactions.

What you'll do:- Assist in the review & investigation of transaction monitoring alerts & unusual activity reports
- Analyse customer, account & transaction data to identify unusual patterns, trends or behaviours
- Conduct research & gather intelligence from internal & external sources to support financial crime investigations
- Prepare investigation summaries, case reports & regulatory submissions
- Escalate matters of concern to senior team members in line with regulatory requirements & internal procedures
- Maintain accurate investigation records & documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support investigation outcomes
- Contribute to reporting, continuous improvement initiatives & team projects
- Exposure to investigative, compliance, intelligence, analytical, risk management, or financial crime activities gained through employment, internships, work placements, university projects or extracurricular activities
- Experience gathering, reviewing & analysing information to support assessments, investigations, reporting or decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to apply analytical thinking & sound judgement when assessing information & identifying potential risks, issues or trends
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks & patterns in information & data
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail & the ability to manage multiple priorities & maintain accurate records
- Demonstrated ability to interrogate big data & draw meanings, patterns & insights
- The ability to work effectively both independently & within a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word & PowerPoint
