Analyst, Financial Analysis & Planning

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Analyst, Financial Analysis & Planning is a key participant for analysis of company results in addition to building reports, budgets and forecast.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Builds and prepares periodic financial reports for stakeholders and senior management.
2.    Participates in monthly reviews with responsible business units.
3.    Participates in monthly, quarterly, yearly forecasting and budgeting process. 
4.    Provides analytical support to stakeholders.
5.    Understands core business drivers, financial interpretation of business changes, and company’s operational and financial performance. 
6.    Assists or performs operations evaluations to identify business challenges, efficiency level, productivity, etc. 
7.    Understands competitors, market trend, broader economic changes, etc.
8.    Manages small to medium scope projects.
9.    Assists or performs ad hoc analysis as requested. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

I.    Experience

1.    Industry or relevant work experience is preferred
2.    Knowledge and experience in WorkDay is preferred

II.    Education

1.    College degree in the fields of Hospitality Management, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, Mathematics or similar
2.    Graduate degree from a major, accredited institution preferred

III.    Skills / Competencies 

1.    Strong analytical skills
2.    Excellent verbal or written English communication skills
3.    Creative and innovative thinking, has good problem-solving skills
4.    Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft Office programs
