The Impact You Will Make

• To succeed in this role, you must be innately curious, deeply analytical, highly driven, and a strong communicator.
• Support business leaders across Logistics, Technology, and Product using data to analyze problems, understand the financial implications, and implement solutions
• Prepare and Monitor KPIs daily, weekly & monthly, investigating underlying causes of variances, and highlighting trends to the Executive & Senior Leadership Team
• Perform advanced analytics to better understand the critical drivers of Logistics KPIs - including but not limited to dispatch settings, time estimates, and driver pay
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives for department leads
• Be curious! Find data nuggets, trends, and other analytical goodies that help us grow faster and generate more profit

About the Team:

• This role reports to the Finance Analytics Logistics Manager directly supporting the priorities and objectives of the Logistics Directors and Managers
• The Finance Analytics team sits on a larger centralized Finance in the organization to create and instill a level of analytical expertise

What You Bring to the Table

• BA/BS in an analytical discipline such as Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics
• 1+ years of experience in an analytical role
• Clear and concise communicator to peers, management, stakeholders, and executive leadership with demonstrated ability to identify, understand, and influence business impact (including metrics, financial value, and tangential risks)
• Familiar with Mathematical Modeling, Decision Science, and Machine Learning
  
  • Decision trees, linear & logistic regressions
• Technical Requirements
  
  • Advanced SQL skills (CTE, subqueries, window functions). Optimized and efficient
  • Tableau & Excel (or Looker / other data visualization tools)
