Job Title: Analyst - Finance Operational Excellence, Finance Shared Services
Location: Philippines

Position Summary:

The Analyst, Operational Excellence is a key contributor to the Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC), supporting the execution of process improvement, automation, and governance initiatives. This role works closely with the Operational Excellence team and cross-functional partners to help drive efficiency, enhance controls, and support the delivery of high-quality finance operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with FSSC leaders, members and other finance teams to provide PMO support to ensure all project deliverables are complete, thorough and of high quality.
  • Assist in the execution of operational excellence initiatives, including process mapping, documentation, and reengineering.
  • Support project tracking and reporting activities, ensuring timely updates and alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with FSSC teams to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow documentation.
  • Contribute to the intake and governance process by helping monitor project stage-gates and performance metrics.
  • Partner with different teams in any automations, efficiencies and reporting.
  • Assist in building, testing, and documenting simple tools, scripts, or workflow solutions using AI-assisted development where applicable.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for local and global projects.
  • Foster collaboration across teams to support a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills Required and Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance operations, shared services, reporting, data analytics, or process improvement preferred.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Tableau, including report viewing, validation, refresh checks, and dashboard maintenance.
  • Exposure to Snowflake, SQL, or similar data platforms preferred.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development of simple tools, scripts, reports, and workflow solutions for process improvement.
  • Ability to review data sources, validate report completeness, and identify data gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Good Excel skills, including basic formulas, lookups, pivots, and data checks.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, finance tools, or reporting platforms is an advantage.
  • Good attention to detail and organized work approach.
  • Good communication skills, with ability to coordinate with stakeholders, data owners, and technical teams.
  • Willingness to learn reporting tools, data processes, and basic automation concepts.
  • Good problem-solving skills to help address reporting, data, and operational issues.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, reporting requirements, and team priorities.
