Position Description
The successful candidate will join the Equity Finance desk, managing the daily flow business with particular focus on the financing and stock lending activities of the Prime and Equity Derivatives business in Asia..
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Risk management, positioning and ongoing optimisation of the equity financing books, utilising multiple financing products (SBL and Delta-One)
Managing and growing external equity finance relationships
Daily P&L reconciliation/book management and maintenance
Close interaction with related trading desks and business units to maximise franchise value
Building solid relationships with partner areas such as legal & compliance, risk, operations and technology
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related disciplines
Some experience working within Equity Finance, Delta-One or Prime environment, within a trading or related operations role is preferred
Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills including a basic coding knowledge
Attention to detail
Must be an excellent team player with a strong work ethic and willing to learn
Strong interpersonal/relationship-building skills
An entrepreneurial and innovative approach and a risk-aware attitude
Fluent English and Mandarin a must
