We are looking for an Analyst to join Kroll's Economic Advisory practice in Germany. In this role, you will help clients navigate complex competition, regulatory and commercial disputes by applying rigorous economic and econometric analysis to real-world business challenges.
Our Economic Advisory team advises leading corporations, law firms, financial institutions and government bodies on high-profile domestic and international matters, including antitrust investigations, merger reviews, damages quantification, commercial litigation, regulatory proceedings and international arbitration. As part of a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment, you will work alongside experienced economists and industry experts on some of the most complex and impactful cases in the market.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Collect, clean and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to support case strategy and economic arguments.
- Conduct economic, statistical and econometric analysis using relevant analytical tools and software.
- Review economic literature, case law and market evidence to support client engagements.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports and expert deliverables for clients, competition authorities and courts.
- Support project teams in developing robust and evidence-based analyses for competition, regulatory and dispute matters.
- Participate in client meetings, conference calls and internal discussions with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of analytical work and project deliverables.
Essential traits:
- Master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline. A PhD is advantageous for Senior Analyst candidates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply economic theory to practical business situations.
- 1-3 years of experience using statistical or econometric software such as Stata, R, Python or similar tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within project teams.
- Professional proficiency in English and German.
