As a data analyst, you collect, process, analyze and use data that comes through different channels. You extract, describe, analyze and interpret the data needed to make informed business decisions. You provide guidance and support to clients for analytics solution mandates that involve using data and designing reports adapted to business needs. You use your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business to work on complex business projects and initiatives using data from different databases. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You serve as a data use resource for various stakeholders. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields to understand needs, and present and explain analysis results. More specifically, you will be required to:

Analyze and identify user needs, work on mandates to collect, process and analyze data, and ensure operationalization through cross-sector coordination

Build and develop complex reports using database management systems and make recommendations to support decision-making

Identify opportunities to improve work methods and processes, and recommend improvements to data management tools

Help clients define their needs, make recommendations and provide advice for selecting, implementing and using data management tools

Do research and perform descriptive and diagnostic analyses to ensure optimal data use and make recommendations in line with business issues and needs.

Bachelor's degree in a related field
