Analyst, Customer Intelligence (Jr. Business Architect)

The Analyst, Junior Business Architect supports Operational Excellence initiatives through the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of automated business solutions using the PEGA software. This role contributes to process improvement efforts by translating business requirements into scalable workflows and supporting the delivery of low-code automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, consistency, and user experience.
The Junior Business Architect collaborates with business units, stakeholders, and technology teams to gather requirements, support solution design, participate in Agile delivery activities, and maintain documentation throughout the automation lifecycle. The position works hybrid and reports to Oriental Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with business units, stakeholders, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Support the design, configuration, and implementation of automated solutions within CRM and low-code platforms for low- to medium-complexity business processes.
• Analyze business and user requirements and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency, process consistency, and user experience.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, and delivery activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as business requirements, process flows, testing artifacts, user guides, and related project documentation.
• Support testing activities and help ensure deliverables meet quality standards prior to implementation and at the end of each sprint.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to support the successful deployment and adoption of automation solutions.
• Support process modeling, workflow design, and documentation of automated business processes.
• Assist in identifying automation opportunities, process improvement initiatives, and operational efficiencies across the organization.
• Support issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts related to automation solutions.
• Provide project updates and support the development of reports, metrics, and monitoring activities related to automation initiatives.
• Stay current on automation tools, low-code technologies, business architecture concepts, and industry best practices through training and professional development activities.
• Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.
• One (1+) year of experience in business analysis, process improvement, software development, automation, business architecture, or related disciplines required. Banking or financial services experience preferred.
• Minimum education and experience requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, process documentation, workflow design, and requirements gathering techniques.
• Experience working within Agile environments and familiarity with sprint-based delivery methodologies preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply low-code platform concepts; experience with Pegasystems CRM or similar platforms preferred.
• Knowledge of automation technologies, operational processes, and enterprise application concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to documentation quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate with business and technical stakeholders.
• Must obtain the Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) certification within the first year of employment.

WORK AUTHORIZATION & ELEGIBILITY:

• Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
