As part of the Commercial Banking business, we are focussed on meeting the needs of medium enterprises typically with an annual turnover of up to $150M along with an aggregated commercial debt of up to $50M. In In CB 150 West our target market includes Manufacturing, Retail and Wholesalers —we make deals happen!

Your impact

As a key team member, you'll support Relationship Executives in writing new money lending transactions, conduct research, and build an industry-specific database to drive growth. You'll analyse and assess risks and opportunities, focusing primarily on deals exceeding $10M.

Do work that matters

  • You will perform due diligence, financial modelling, and application risk analysis throughout the lifecycle of acquiring new diversified transaction deals.

  • Identify and research new-to-bank prospects, prepare pitch packs, and draft complex client white papers.

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including credit and product partners, external advisers and clients.

  • Contribute to the core focus of quality, revenue growth, credit management, and minimising losses.

To be a success in this role, you will require

  • A degree in accounting or finance and expertise in cash flow and complex financial analysis is essential.

  • Experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory, or restructuring will give you an edge.

  • Commercial credit experience as an Analyst, Assistant Manager, Associate, Senior Associate, or Credit Manager is advantageous.

  • Exposure to credit writing and submissions for commercial, corporate, or institutional banking.

  • Familiarity with complex lending and diversified structures

  • Strong communication skills are also key.
