As a claims analyst, you help review claims and issue claims settlement directives. You provide settlement opinions for medium- to high-complexity claims and help internal advisors develop their technical skills. You share ideas and help solve problems using your analytical skills, extensive knowledge of your line of business and ability to manage complexity.You provide discipline-specific support to your unit, clients and partners. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Coach internal advisors to develop their technical skills
- Provide contract enforcement advice, verify settlement costs and ensure compliance with claims policies. Revise independent adjuster claims
- Review claims and help advisors and practitioners settle them
- Conduct research and serve as resource person, proposing solutions to conflicts and situations outside the expert’s scope of authority
- Help prepare action plans based on claims reviews
- Verify and approve claims settlements.
