Department OverviewThe Strategy department is at the center of Motorola Solutions International (Europe, Middle East & Africa, Asia Pacific & Latina America) organization, an organization with more than US$1 Bn annual sales and presence in many countries across the region. The Strategy department is in charge of coordinating the strategy & the alignment of resources into growth opportunities. It is responsible for strategic planning & market research activities, business positioning, market share & competitive analysis. A position in the strategy department gives the perfect chance to understand how a large multinational operates, and how markets, competitors & strategies are analysed and implemented.
Job Description
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
- Quarterly Production & presentation of market share analysis for defined regions, countries and technologies , to support planning
- Analysis of specific sales data, market development, market shares.
- Responsibility for Market analysis, competitive information at technology level
- Deliver inputs to strategy process and long-term planning
- Support presentation to senior leadership with relevant materials
Basic Requirements
Specific Knowledge:
- Successful graduation in Business, telecommunications or engineering studies. A Master degree is a plus
- Proficiency with excel, analysis tools and with databases
- Good analytical capabilities (Excel or equivalent) & project/time management . A plus is knowledge/experience on macroeconomics analysis, market research, marketing mix, strategic tools or competitive strategy.
- Proven ability to deliver high quality training & presentation (PowerPoint) & pitch to internal & external audiences
- English is a must, other languages are valued
