Analyst, Business Intelligence and Data Insights

We are seeking an experienced Analyst, BI & Data Insights with a passion to solve complex business problems, discover insights & patterns, and drive revenue and decisions based on data intelligence to join our BI & Data Insights team. As a BI analyst, you will play a key role in creating effective reports and dashboards, recommending decisions based on detailed analysis, market forecasts and analysis internally as well as for our shipper and carrier partners.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Leverage data to provide consultation to sales and operations to meet shipper and carrier requirements
• Create dashboards and reports to measure performance, automate operational processes, and drive revenue and business decisions
• Create detailed analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business
• Assist in effectively using and maintaining both internal and external data sources
• Take ownership of organizational initiatives and projects
• Partner with key internal stakeholders to ensure project success
• Lead ad-hoc analysis to provide actionable insights to the business
• Ensure that all departmental deadlines are met
• Escalate known issues and highlight areas for process improvement
   

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field of study, such as finance, accounting, engineering, operations research, math, or statistics
• 1-2 years data analytics experience
• Solid understanding of data structures and SQL
• Considerable experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, SSRS, or Power BI
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders
• Strong time management skills
