Position Summary
The Analyst, Business Analytics – ePublishing System Support role supports the design, maintenance, and testing of business logic within the ePublishing system used to generate member‑facing benefit documents. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining simple business logic and logic utilizing user‑defined variables mapped to upstream systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational readiness. The analyst also plays a key role in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system fixes and upgrades to confirm changes meet business, drafting, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update business logic within the ePublishing system, including simple logic and logic using user‑defined variables mapped to upstream systems.
- Analyze system user notes and translate them into accurate, compliant ePublishing logic supporting document assembly.
- Validate system output to ensure benefit language accuracy and alignment with drafting standards, regulatory requirements, and approved product configurations.
- Maintain clear documentation related to logic rules, testing outcomes, and process changes to support auditability and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with Drafting, Product, Regulatory, and Technology partners to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure consistent document output.
- Meet established quality standards, service level agreements, and team objectives while managing multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Ability to interpret business and regulatory requirements and apply them to system logic and testing scenarios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain system behavior and testing outcomes clearly.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple work items simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of benefits and benefit language interpretation.
- Experience with PERS/CCI and Drafting processes or tools.
- Strong Microsoft Word formatting skills, including working with complex document structures and templates.
- Experience supporting or testing document assembly or publishing systems.
- Familiarity with workflow, reporting, or business applications such as QuickBase or SharePoint
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent business experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant business, system support, or analytical experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
We support a hybrid work environment. If selected and you live near a suitable work location, you may be expected to comply with the hybrid work policy. Under the policy, all hires for in-scope populations should be placed into a hybrid or office-based location, working onsite three days a week.
Aetna Service Operations office/hub locations will be discussed with the selected candidate.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $102,081.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
