Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced analyst to join our organization, with a strong business acumen, interest for the hospitality industry and technical skills (Tableau, SQL, Python).
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI strategies and implementations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to delivering efficient, organized solutions that enable business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
- Create and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimization
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all BI solutions and reporting systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Document technical specifications, processes, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference
- Stay current with emerging BI technologies and best practices to continuously improve solutions
- Support end-users with training and guidance on BI tools and data interpretation
Background:
- 2-3 years of professional experience in analytical roles or data vizualization
- Master's degree
- Hospitality industry experience
Mandatory skills:
- Business acumen
- Programming experience in SQL, Python, or similar languages for data manipulation and analysis
- Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization
- Proficiency with Tableau
- Fluent in French/ English
Preferred skills:
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong attention to accuracy and data integrity
