Department Overview
The Motorola Solutions Radio Engineering team, located in Tel-Aviv, Israel, specializes in the design and development of world class Mission Critical Communications equipment. This team develops state of the art mixed signal modules and integrated circuits for use in our radio products. We need innovative and motivated mixed signal system-on-a-chip designers to apply their talents to take our radio product solutions to the next level. As a member of our team you

Job Description

IC Circuits design Engineer will perform analog, RF and mixed signal IC circuit design and simulation in deep submicron CMOS and BiCMOS processes.


Basic Requirements
  • BSEE (MSEE preferred) with 6+ years of analog circuits and/or RF circuits and/or mixed
  • Signal IC design experience Cadence Virtuoso circuit simulation and layout tools experience
  • Create and innovate circuit designs for RF, Analog, interface logic, and other peripherals in deep submicron IC nodes. Familiar with various building blocks of RF transceivers, audio processing and Phase Locked Loop (PLL) subsystems.
  • Solid experience in analog/ RF /mixed-signal circuit block modeling, design and verification using Cadence CAD tools.
  • Experience in taping out circuit designs for fabrication and follow up with post silicon evaluation.
  • Understanding of RF test equipment and measurement tools, such as signal analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, soldering stations, etc.
  • Silicon validation in the lab, experience in Labview or similar will be an asset

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Knowledge of ADC/DAC architectures and knowing which are suitable for given applications
  • Knowledge of band-gaps, bias, op-amps, switched-cap circuits, LDOs, feedback and compensation techniques, charge pumps
  • Knowledge of low noise design techniques
  • Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC designs
