Resumen
The Quality Senior Specialist applies professional expertise to develop, document and maintain technical product specifications for CBI’s Beer Division and emerging brands. Managing complex processes and projects, this role works independently on most tasks but seeks guidance for highly intricate challenges. The Senior Specialist leverages advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills to adapt policies and programs, develop support models for smaller-scale projects and deliver actionable insights that enhance overall business operations. This role also supports Print Quality and Master Dieline programs and participates on continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain
Responsabilidades
1. Design and maintain product specifications:
- Create and update technical sheets for packaging components (structural designs and artwork).
- Document inbound shipment requirements (handling from supplier to brewery).
- Detail finished-goods processes: coding, glue application, palletizing and stretch-wrapping.
- Define outbound shipment criteria for distribution centers and wholesalers
2. Manage specialized projects and processes:
- Lead small-to-midscale initiatives to refine specification workflows.
- Coordinate cross-functional project plans, timelines and deliverables.
- Escalate and seek guidance on complex issues to ensure compliance and quality.
3. Utilize advanced analysis and problem-solving:
- Apply statistical and root-cause techniques to specification-related issues.
- Adapt existing policies and create new support models for rapid project deployments.
- Translate analytical findings into concrete recommendations for product and process enhancements
4. Maintain document control in OpenText:
- Upload specifications and maintain folder structures.
- Administer user access and troubleshoot system issues.
- Coordinate minor platform enhancements to boost usability.
5. Support approval workflows and version control:
- Facilitate specification reviews, secure formal sign-offs and archive obsolete versions.
- Ensure only current documents are live and communicate updates to stakeholders.
6. Collaborate on packaging change and new product projects:
- Partner with Procurement, R&D and Packaging teams to gather technical requirements.
- Liaise with vendors to confirm specifications and meet launch schedules
7. Support Print Quality and Master Dieline programs:
- Assist in developing printing standards and evaluation checklists.
- Help coordinate printer assessments and maintain approved dieline templates.
8. Participate on continuous improvement and organizational knowledge:
- Provide specialized insights to strengthen the company’s specification foundation.
- Propose targeted enhancements to materials, artwork or handling processes.
- Monitor key metrics and apply results to elevate operational performance.
