Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive AML compliance reviews and audits to assess the adequacy of existing procedures and controls.
- Perform transaction monitoring and suspicious activity investigations, documenting findings and recommendations.
- Develop and implement AML policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Maintain current knowledge of AML regulations, legislation, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and present reports on AML issues and findings to management and regulatory authorities.
- Train and educate staff on AML policies, procedures, and risk awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of compliance and risk management.
- Participate in the development of risk assessments and mitigation strategies for emerging money laundering threats.
- Support internal and external audits related to AML compliance.
- Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies and assist in examinations or audits.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in SAS implementation solution for Anti money laundry
- Proven experience in configuring SAS modules and creating business scenarios
- Financial industry experience, particularly in AML, Compliance, and risk management roles.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of AML regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Expertise in conducting investigations and risk assessments.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
