Job Summary
The Sales Engineer will focus on technical sales and applications of Nordson OSM products into the Semiconductor /SMT / Electronics / Automotive market in the US. Assist in managing sales opportunities as well as distributors and sales representatives and contribute to business development for Nordson OSM.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing sales to meet or exceed business & sales targets.
- Provide application and product training and updates to distributors and customers on the latest technology and product developments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop customized applications/solutions to meet customers’ needs.
- Establish contacts and develop strong relationships with customers and distributors through regular visits and contact
- Engage in marketing activities with distributors by participating in key trade exhibitions/shows and other events to promote Nordson products
- Gather relevant market information, including latest technology and industry trends, competitor developments, changes in existing markets and emergence of new markets for feedback to management
- Maintain customer profiles and up to date information through the CRM system and provide feedback to management, including reports on sales activities, short-term and long-term sales forecasts
- Assist in formulation of local sales and marketing strategies through market analysis and partner with local distributor(s) to drive sales and win projects
- Support in developing pricing strategies based on local market conditions and manage negotiations on product pricing agreements
- Identify new leads, expanding business, and manage key account relationships
- Prepare quotations to customers and provide sales presentations and demos as needed
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering
- 5-10 years related capital equipment applications/sales experience or process management in Semiconductor or related industry is required.
- Equipment sales and or technical experience in the SEMI / SMT / electronics industry a plus
- International Sales or Technical experience in Korea preferred
- Proficiency Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools a plus

Compensation
Base Salary Range for this position is $70,000 -$100,000 annually.
The base pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, business considerations, and local market conditions, as well as candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, and skills

- Travel estimated up to 80% regionally within the assigned region.
