Position Summary

This individual will be responsible for representing Arch Mortgage Funding (AMF) in the mortgage market territory assigned. They will be prospecting for new customers, maintaining relationships with existing customers, communicating internally and externally, organizing projects, and scheduling events related to customer onboarding and relationship management.

They will execute their duties by seeking out new partnerships, educating the marketplace on AMF non-QM products (DSCR, Bank Statement, Asset Depletion and Full Doc) and services, answering customer questions, redirecting customers to pipeline support resources, following up on service requests and tracking customer activity. This position will also work to support the growth goals assigned and help to identify new products and services AMF can bring to market. This position will also provide ongoing updates to assigned internal stakeholders, update reports, record CRM activity and any assignments related to the customer experience as directed by the SVP.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Partner with lenders to form knowledge-driven relationships and ensure that AMF products and services meet the lender’s needs. Expertly handle complex customer issues through effective problem solving and negotiation.
  • Partner with lenders to improve the volume of business coming to AMF including understanding the customers issues as it relates to operational efficiency, training, secondary functions, and risk management.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between Arch US MI Account Reps and Arch Mortgage Funding in the assigned accounts.
  • Direct referrals and business development opportunities within the Arch Mortgage teams as identified through the customer relationship.
  • Coordinate communication between AMF Transaction Manager, key leadership stakeholders and the lenders to problem solve loan level issues.
  • Maintain CRM information on all account activity as directed by SVP.
  • Perform daily customer contact via phone, online communication tools, remote meetings and in-person business development.
  • Assist in coordinating the delivery of external announcements, AMF presentations, and materials to be shared with customers at industry trade shows. Must have strong public and virtual speaking and presentation skills.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and new developments in mortgage lending. Must understand whole loan mortgage sales cycle from origination, funding to securitization and be able to train others on the topics effectively.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong mortgage expertise including experience with NQM secondary relationships.
  • Mastery of selling skills, models, methods, and best practices. Effective at handling objections.
  • Expert in customer service orientation with the ability to develop and maintain long term customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Must be able to handle multiple levels of communication within a mortgage lending operation, specifically C-suite and Capital Markets
  • High level of technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience working in a VPN, salesforce.com and other web-based tool environments.
  • Must have experience developing and maintaining a non-QM territory.  5+ years preferred with existing contacts and relationships that can be leveraged to grow Arch Mortgage funding business.

Education & Experience

  • Required knowledge and skills would typically be acquired through a bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years’ experience in secondary mortgage sales, mortgage marketing or communications and related fields.
  • Non-QM market sales leadership.
  • Knowledge of non-QM guidelines and production procedures.
  • Overall market awareness for competitive approach, business planning and execution of non-QM loan growth.

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$146,000 - $190,000/year

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
