Salary Range:$150,000 USD - $170,000 USD
Specific compensation will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Job Description:
Russell Investments is seeking an Americas Institutional GTM (Go-To-Market) COO, Associate Director to join our Americas Institutional GTM team. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the firm’s institutional strategy in North America, partnering closely with the Global GTM COO and the Head of Americas Institutional. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic thinking, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate Russell’s sales and client engagement model.

Your Core Responsibilities:
Partner with the Global GTM COO and Americas Institutional leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence across the business.
Design, implement and/or manage processes and reporting resources that provide actionable insights to drive data-driven decision-making on our GTM strategy and operating model.
Produce high-quality analysis and executive-level presentations to support senior leadership and key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and Executive Committees.
Lead the rhythm of business activities, including monthly reporting, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and GTM team meetings.
Craft talking points and executive communications for senior leaders for both internal and external audiences.
Drive innovation as a technology subject matter expert and support the use and adoption of technology by the team to support the sales process and client service activities including: CRM, Seismic, Outreach, HeyDan, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
Work closely with sales teams to track and ensure accurate pipeline and sales management data. Curate different source data to build a single view of sales tracking and pipeline management.
Collaborate with technology and reporting product owners to drive projects to improve the quality of our prospect and client data for our sales and client service teams.
Lead cross functional initiatives with finance, marketing, operations and corporate functions
Build connection and contribute to the Global GTM Strategy and Operations team and help drive local adoption of process improvement.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
6+ years of experience in COO/operations, chief of staff, management consulting, corporate strategy, and/or Institutional sales roles
Strong understanding of the institutional asset management industry, financial markets, investment concepts, competitors and industry trends.
Expert in Excel and PowerPoint with experience building executive presentations and communicating with senior leadership
MBA or Relevant Bachelor Degree (Finance, Economics, Business Management, Communication, Marketing)
Proven track record of strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with some of the commonly used data/ sales intelligence sources and databases in asset management (CRM- Dynamics & Salesforce, Seismic, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
Excellent administrative, problem solving, project managing and decision-making skills.
Strong business writing skills.
Passion for supporting, improving and innovating the sales process.
