Job Summary:
We have a great AMD/XILINX Field Application Engineer opportunity to join an exciting and innovative team. We are looking for an engineer with experience in R&D to join our technical team and who is ready for challenging work with the customers in the high-tech market in Israel.
The Ideal Person:
- Has at least 5 years of experience as a development engineer and working with programmable components (FPGA)
- Initiative attitude, high energy and motivation, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team collaboration environment
- Speaks good technical English
- Experience in developing embedded computer systems could be considered an advantage
- Familiarity and experience with work environments for implementing artificial intelligence-based systems could also be considered an advantage.
What you will be doing:
- Provide technical support and design guidance to customers using AMD/Xilinx FPGAs, SoCs, and related development tools.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive design wins and support customers from concept to production.
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and hands-on training to customers and internal teams, showcasing AMD/Xilinx technologies and development tools.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, Avnet Silica, and AMD/Xilinx, ensuring customer feedback is communicated effectively and solutions are optimized.
- Stay current with AMD/Xilinx product roadmaps, Vivado/Versal tools, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to guide customers toward innovative solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
