ROLE SUMMARY:
As the Amazon / Special Projects Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing floor leadership and instructions to the Warehouse Associates within your department. You will assign associates to the area(s) / job(s) to ensure smooth workflow for daily Amazon customer orders and any Special Project tasks. As a Coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the Amazon operation functions safely and efficiently. Coordinators are responsible for providing new hires with proper and effective training for their primary job roles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule routine tasks as it relates to production for the day
- Guide the team in completing tasks with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Train new team members and ensure they are following best business practices
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Find solutions to routine production issues
- Assist other work teams in times of high demand
- Lead team to ensure all Amazon orders are completed daily per account SLAs
- Manage the weekly schedule for kitting and meet daily goals
- Ensure any Special Projects are executed to expectation and by expected timelines
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1+ years of experience and proficiency in using computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Mail
- 1+ years of developing leadership skills with strong potential for continued growth
- Proven track record of following detailed verbal and written instructions while effectively multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Experience collaborating with teams across multiple departments and disciplines
- Skilled in working effectively with a diverse workforce
POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time hourly position.
SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
SALARY:
$17.50/hr
