Amazon & Ecommerce Supply Chain Technical Lead

Location: Philippines (Remote)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, either 5:00 AM–1:00 PM US CT or 6:00 AM–2:00 PM US CT.

Our client is looking for a highly capable and proactive Supply Chain Technical Lead (Amazon & E-commerce) to take ownership of inventory forecasting, demand planning, and overall supply chain performance across its Amazon and eCommerce operations.

In this role, you will help ensure products remain available without creating unnecessary excess inventory or holding costs. You will build and improve forecasting systems, optimize inventory across multiple sales channels, monitor Amazon-related costs, and coordinate the movement of products from manufacturers through warehouses and fulfillment centers.

Inventory Management & Demand Planning:

• Develop and manage demand forecasting models using historical sales data and market trends

• Ensure optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations

• Process orders and coordinate transfers throughout the supply chain from manufacturer to warehouses to fulfillment centers

• Manage inventory across multiple channels, including Amazon FBA, Vendor Central, and direct fulfillment platforms

• Proactively identify and address potential inventory shortages or excesses

• Collaborate with marketing and product teams for demand alignment during promotions and product launches

Amazon Cost Optimization:

• Stay up to date with Amazon’s evolving fee structures and cost policies

• Minimize FBA storage fees and long-term holding costs

• Maximize reimbursements for erroneous charges and fees

• Develop automated cost-tracking systems for thousands of SKUs

Data Analysis & Forecasting:

• Use advanced data tools (Excel, Power Query, Flieber, etc.) for demand forecasting

• Create and refine forecasting models to ensure high accuracy

• Develop scenario plans for new product launches based on similar SKU performance

• Implement data-driven decision-making tools for purchase orders and stock management

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination:

• Oversee inbound shipments and manage relationships with freight carriers and 3PL providers

• Develop strategies for cost-effective logistics and timely deliveries

• Monitor and track manufacturing, import, freight, and storage costs across the supply chain

• Ensure smooth coordination between manufacturing partners and fulfillment centers

Operational Efficiency & Performance Monitoring:

• Develop and standardize tools and templates to streamline demand planning operations

• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual inputs in demand planning systems

• Track key performance metrics such as fill rates, inventory turns, and profit margins

• Ensure regular reporting and visibility into demand planning performance
  

• 3+ years of proven experience in Amazon demand planning and inventory optimization

• 3+ years of advanced Excel experience (Pivot Tables, in-cell formulas, Power Query, AI forecasting models)

• Data-driven mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach

• Ability to simplify complex data into meaningful insights

• Experience in supply chain or demand planning within a CPG, consumer products, or similarly fast-moving business with product launches, seasonality, short product life cycles, or inventory obsolescence risk.

• Experience in e-commerce, particularly in the mobile tech accessories space

• Familiarity with freight logistics, 3PL management, overseas manufacturing

• Familiarity with inventory/sales forecasting platforms (Flieber, Inventory Planner, etc)

• Knowledge of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System)
