The Opportunity: 

We are seeking an Amazon Advertising Manager to support the scaling of our business by driving the performance of the brands we represent on Amazon and other Marketplaces. This role will shape advertising strategies and optimize paid advertising campaigns to meet and exceed brand partner objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ads Strategy Management: Guide the implementation of digital advertising strategies across multiple platforms, including Amazon and Google, ensuring they align with our goals and those of our Brand Partners. 
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor paid advertising campaigns for allocated strategic accounts on Amazon and other platforms. 
  • Analysis & Optimization: Analyze and optimize existing campaigns (structure, keyword research, bid adjustments, ad copywriting, audience targeting) to drive revenue and sales. 
  • Testing & Scaling: Test, scale, and optimize campaigns in Amazon Ads and other channels. 
  • Budget Management: Plan and manage weekly and monthly advertising budgets across client accounts. 
  • Performance Tracking: Update and improve tracking of advertising spend and return on ad spend (ROAS) for each brand. 
  • Client Communication: Regularly communicate with brand partners to provide insights and strategies. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Brand Management, Marketplace, and SEO/Content teams to drive aligned strategies. 
  • Team Leadership: Train, develop, and coach junior team members to grow within their roles. 
  • Tool Utilization: Adopt internal tools and provide feedback to the tech team on feature requirements for optimization. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Experience: 5+ years of total experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a hands-on digital advertising role in an agency focused on Amazon. 
  • Management Skills: Prior management experience with a proven ability to lead and coach junior teams. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and experience managing budgets. 
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and focus on commercial outcomes. 
  • E-commerce Experience: Experience working with retail/eCommerce clients (preferred).
