Account Strategy Lead
Lucra Commerce is a growing Amazon agency focused on driving bottom-line profit for our client partners. We are looking for an Account Strategy Lead to serve as the primary point of contact for our portfolio of brands and own the overall strategic direction of each account.
This role is the connective tissue of our agency. You will sit between our clients and our internal PPC team, translating business objectives into actionable strategies and ensuring everything we do ladders up to profitability. You will not be buried in spreadsheets or campaign builds. You will be the person our clients trust, the person our team looks to for direction, and the person accountable for whether a brand is winning on Amazon.
What You Will Own
Client relationships across our portfolio of brands, serving as the day-to-day strategic partner and primary point of communication. You will lead regular client calls, present performance reviews, and proactively surface opportunities and risks before clients have to ask.
Overall account strategy for each brand, including pricing, inventory planning, promotional calendars, catalog expansion, competitive positioning, and category trends. You will take a holistic view of each brand's Amazon business, not just the advertising side.
Strategic direction for our PPC team. While you will not be managing campaigns directly, you will set priorities, communicate client goals, and ensure advertising efforts align with the broader brand strategy. You need to understand Amazon advertising well enough to have informed conversations with our team and with clients.
Creative and content strategy, including oversight of listing optimization, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and main image testing. You will identify where content improvements can drive conversion and work with our team to execute.
Reporting and insights, turning raw data into clear narratives for clients. You will own the story of each brand's performance and present it in a way that builds trust and drives smart decision-making.
What We Are Looking For
At least 2-3 years of hands-on Amazon experience, ideally on the agency or brand side. You understand how Seller Central works, you are familiar with the levers that drive performance on the platform, and you have managed client or stakeholder relationships in a professional setting.
Strong communication skills. This role is fundamentally about relationships. You need to be someone who can lead a client call with confidence, write a clear and concise email, and translate complex Amazon dynamics into language that non-Amazon people understand.
Strategic thinking with a profitability lens. We are not a "grow revenue at all costs" agency. You should be someone who naturally thinks about margin, contribution profit, and the tradeoffs between growth and efficiency.
Familiarity with Amazon tools and platforms including Seller Central, Amazon Advertising Console, and ideally tools like SmartScout, Helium 10, or similar competitive intelligence platforms. Experience with Vendor Central is a plus but not required.
Organizational skills and follow-through. You will be managing multiple brands simultaneously. You need systems, discipline, and the ability to keep nothing from falling through the cracks.
A collaborative mindset. Our team is small. You will work closely with our PPC Lead and PPC Specialist on a daily basis and need to be someone who gives clear direction while also being open to input from the people closest to the data.

This is a full-time, fully remote position. You must be based in the United States. We are a small, senior team based in New York City and operate with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
