We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Amazon Account Lead, International to own and significantly grow our Amazon business across all international markets. This is a highly strategic channel experiencing dynamic growth, with immense future potential for Oura. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the drive to maximize the incredible scale-up opportunity Amazon presents.
You will be responsible for setting the strategy, working closely with distributors and agency partners, and driving effective and efficient growth of the Oura business on Amazon in international markets.
What you will do:- Own the Amazon business in all international markets, taking full responsibility for its strategic direction and performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our international third-party partners, distributors, and agencies who sell via Amazon, including regular communication, performance reviews, and collaborative planning.
- Set the comprehensive strategy for Amazon in international markets, from sales and pricing strategy to the phase-in and phase-out of products.
- Collaborate with partners to develop and execute Amazon sales and marketing strategies, influencing advertising, promotions, and content.
- Optimize inventory levels with partners to ensure sufficient stock while minimizing costs, providing accurate forecasts and replenishment strategies.
- Track key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to partners to enhance sales and profitability on Amazon.
- Ensure consistent brand representation on Amazon across product listings, A+ Content, and brand storefronts, upholding Oura brand guidelines.
- Navigate the Amazon ecosystem, staying informed about Amazon policies, best practices, and new features to effectively guide our third-party partners.
- Work closely with our internal media and ads teams to drive traffic and optimize campaign performance on Amazon.
- Oversee contractual agreements with partners, including performance expectations and payment terms.
- Provide regular performance updates to internal stakeholders and facilitate seamless communication between partners and Oura teams.
- Problem Solve & Mediate: Address any performance issues, conflicts, or discrepancies between Oura’s expectations and the third-party partner's execution, mediating and finding solutions that benefit all parties.
- Support broader Oura initiatives related to Amazon to drive overall performance and strategic alignment.
- Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of managing sales on Amazon
- Strong understanding of Amazon and its operational functions (e.g., Vendor Central, Seller Central, advertising platforms, content management).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with external partners, distributors, and agencies.
- Ability to effectively influence the strategies and actions of third-party partners without direct authority.
- Strong commercial acumen, including analytical and negotiation skills, familiarity with contract terms, and understanding of how to manage profitability.
- Deep knowledge of Amazon's dynamics and ecosystem, with the ability to leverage various levers to drive traffic, conversion, and brand presence beyond traditional sales.
- Drive, tenacity, and resilience with an ‘anything is possible’ attitude in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – capable of articulating complex strategies clearly.
- Strong influencing skills and the ability to demonstrate thought leadership and proactively manage stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
- Ideally, experience working with Amazon and/or in the broader E-commerce arena in an international context.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
