Job Summary:
This is a critical role at HighRadius wherein the candidate would be responsible for managing the end to end revenue process with special attention to revenue recognition as per US GAAP - ASC 606. The role requires the candidate to be well versed with ASC 606. The role demands the person to have the ability to get into details and also be strong on analytics to sense if something is off. This role requires communicating to global stakeholders and multiple teams (sales, operations, deal desk FP&A etc) including presenting to the leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subject matter technical expertise in revenue recognition (ASC 606).
- Perform contract analysis reviews and document reviews following ASC 606 Accounting Standards.
- Prepare technical revenue accounting memos in compliance with US GAAP.
- Monitor relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure the company’s revenue recognition policies and procedures are in compliance.
- Establish and maintain formal accounting policies, practices, procedures, and process improvements to ensure US GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
- Hands-on experience in handling Time & Material, Fixed Price, and Percentage of Completion (POCM) calculation.
- Manage ad hoc automation projects and support new business initiatives.
- Provide technical revenue training to both the revenue team and other groups within the Company.
- Liaison with stakeholders across multiple offices and teams.
- Understand Revenue and Order Cash business processes to drive process improvements.
- Prepare month-end and quarter-end presentations for management.
- Assist AR team in contract review and queries.
Skill & Experience Needed:
- Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of experience in revenue assurance profiles.
- Hands on experience on ASC 606.
