About the role.
The role is responsible for leading smooth dispatch/movement between MDC to RDCs including Order-to-Delivery of customer's orders/POs for FS RT QSR KA, MT Ecom DTLs, exports Etc, ensuring high Fill rate vs forecast at RDCs vs daily dispatch plan and customer service levels and operational ex MDC. This role oversees vendor coordination, drives compliance through audits, best warehousing practices in MDC as per SOPs, and ensures smooth primary & customer's dispatches by proactively identifying risks related to storage and transportation. The key focus on adherence to Supply Chain SOPs/ contracted KPI of vendor to ensure seamless, safe, and efficient operations across MDC and timely customer and RDCs dispatches and capacity planning.
What you'll be doing.
- Responsible for implementation and execution of seamless movement between MDC to RDCs movement and dispatch planning basis FEFO from respective MDC and Customer Service for QSR/MT/ECOM/KA/RT etc, logistics and supply chain practices.
- Timely inwards to ensure product availability and faster rotation of vehicles.
- Leading and capacity planning with a peak volume during stock buildup time and peak sales time for timely dispatches and offloading with no challenges on space.
- Implementing best practices in Distribution and Operations
- Order & Dispatch (MDC to RDCs and customer orders) Management and implementation of SCM, Warehouse, Quality, Safety, Compliance and Audit SOPs adherence.
- Ensuring efficient and safe day to day operation to be carried out at the MDCs and its efficiency and performance.
- Ensuring Safety, Temp compliance and Quality compliances are met and exceeded
- Drive secondary distribution planning for cost efficient operations for Gujrat and MP ex Indore and DTLs.
- SCA initiatives at the MDCs operation
- Providing critical analysis, inputs and working to support management decisions including Storage budgeting.
- Provide MDC & secondary cost & SCM KPI MIS.
- Provide with Storage partner performance with regular reviews and feedback vs contracted SOPs and SLA.
- Ensure all the Mccain SOPs are adhered.
- Dedicated KM analysis, pallet reconciliation, SAP Vs Vendor book to book sign off and stock count.
- Timely blocking of non-saleable stocks in SAP and Vendor system and its disposal as per procedure and remove stocks form SAP and vendor books including sign offs.
- Responsible for Vendor relationship and clearance of payments and submission of timely NDCs
Manage The KPI's:
- Set Work and KPI for MDC team including training to staff and vendor team.
- Ensure set targets are achieved against KPI's.
- Keeps stakeholder up to date with any changes to company procedures or policy.
- Monthly & Annual performance review of MDC Team.
Ensure Capacity Availability
- Engage with Storage and Transport Partners for required capacity in place for all the required movement between MDC to RDC and customer order execution.
- Run the MDC Consolidation and capacity Model at regular frequency to optimize cost and seamless movement and decreasing TAT for faster movement.
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and McCain policies and systems
- Monitoring and implementing timely statutory compliance of GST (IRN/EWB) FSSAI and other laws
- Legal Compliances to all relevant legal requirements
- Vendor Contract Management with procurement team and its validation, bills surveillance vs contract.
- Timely CN booking of Customers.
- SOC closures.
- POD Management and its record keeping.
- Compliance with McCain policies and systems
- Compliance with Human & Food safety standards
- Compliance of Supplier Code of Conduct within Vendors and Contractors
Safety & Quality
- Conduct safety training for all team members and vendors.
- Make sure safety procedures and equipment are used.
- Ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times.
- Report and act on near-miss incidents, good catches.
- Temp Compliance of MDCs for inward & outward and work with stakeholders to close gaps.
- Work with factory on cartoon quality to avoid any market complaint.
Relationship Management
- Work as part of the SC team to share ideas and improve operation, in line with quality standards requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and seamless operations at MDCs and timely stock availability and inwards.
- Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with the SC strategy.
- Communication with other departments (Factory/sales/finance/Vendor, customers and other service providers for seamless operations.

What you'll need to be successful.
- Masters / Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field
- Over 5 years' experience in international logistics, trade compliance, or global supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain networks and international shipping
• High attention to detail and compliance rigor
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage change
• Data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field
- Over 5 years' experience in international logistics, trade compliance, or global supply chain operations
- Experience using SAP for inventory, stock reconciliation and transaction management
- Knowledge of GST e-invoicing (IRN), EWB processes and FSSAI compliance
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
- Capacity planning and warehouse/distribution center operations experience (FEFO, consolidation)
- Experience setting and managing SCM/KPI/MIS reporting
- Experience with safety, temperature control and food quality compliance in cold chain operations
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects, drive continuous improvement and make data-driven decisions
- High attention to detail, compliance rigor, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
