The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the development and rollout of Prudential’s regional partnership platform, PruPartnerships. This role focuses on translating complex business needs from internal stakeholders and external bancassurance partners into clear, scalable, and auditable requirements. Working across multiple markets, the Business Analyst will drive structured requirement discovery, validation, and documentation while balancing partner customisation needs with platform standardisation. The role requires strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, multi-country environments.

The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating cross-functional teams, regulatory considerations, and evolving product requirements, and can produce high-quality outputs that support both delivery teams and governance processes.

Job Description

  • Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements from stakeholders for the development of new and enhanced applications.

  • Translate business needs into clear, concise, and actionable functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and use cases, using Jira and Confluence.

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with various business units, IT teams, and vendor partners to elicit and validate requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with product owners, UI/UX designers, developers, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Define and document user flows, process maps, and data models.

  • Conduct gap analysis between current and future state processes and systems.

  • Support the creation of test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios, and assist in coordinating UAT activities.

  • Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements and solutions.

  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.

  • Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues related to requirements and scope.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes and methodologies.

Job Qualifications

  • ​3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role

  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or bancassurance preferred

  • Exposure to multi-country or regional projects is a strong advantage

  • Education level:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

  • Structured thinker with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and evolving requirements

  • Strong communication skills across business and technical audiences

  • Proactive and ownership-driven

  • Agile delivery

  • Requirement discovery & structuring

  • Stakeholder management

  • Data & systems thinking to work with data models and attributes

  • Ability to work with tools such as Figma, Figjam, Atlassian Suite (jira, confluence)

  • Financial/Insurance domain knowledge, familiarity with insurance products and distribution channels a plus

  • Multi-market thinking in product development; identifying reusability opportunities

  • Governance & compliance awareness in understanding data sensitivity, regulatory constraints and audit requirements

Skills Required

  • 3-6 years experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar

  • Requirement discovery and structuring, producing functional specifications and user stories
  • Stakeholder management and facilitation of workshops/meetings with business, IT, and vendors
  • Ability to produce process flows, user flows, process maps, and data models
  • Data and systems thinking to work with data models and attributes
  • Experience coordinating UAT and creating test plans / UAT scenarios
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Figma, FigJam
  • Governance and compliance awareness including data sensitivity, regulatory constraints, and audit requirements
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or bancassurance
  • Exposure to multi-country or regional projects and multi-market product thinking
  • Familiarity with insurance products and distribution channels
