What you will do:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft an inspiring vision for the product, and passionately bringing it to life through your innovative designs!

  • Design and execute industry-leading products from concept creation to commercialization, setting new standards in performance and style.
  • Craft inspiring seasonal design themes that captivate and excite our audience, driving the future of athletic footwear.

How you will do it:

Dive deep into consumer insights and collaborate with the design team to infuse seasonal themes with fresh, relevant ideas.

  • Work closely with senior design management and PLMs, blending creativity and strategy to shape standout seasonal themes.
  • Partner with development teams to guarantee our products are both cost-effective and packed with value, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Skills for Success

Years of related professional experience: 6 years minimum of experience designing and developing innovative footwear.

Educational position requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

  • Proven experience in creating technical design packages and bringing industrial product designs to life, from concept to completion.

  • Skilled in design research and trend analysis, always staying ahead of the curve and infusing fresh ideas into your work.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the technical needs for performance footwear, ensuring every design meets the highest standards of functionality and innovation.

Experience and basic qualifications:

  • Strong design sketching / rendering / visual communication skills
  • Understanding of the outdoor industry, running industry preferred
  • Proficient in adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Effectively manage timeline and problem solve quickly
  • Future vision, High taste-level and strategic thinking
  • Knowledge of form, color, materials, human factors, related to elevating the consumer experience
  • Ability to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narratives
  • Proven experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience in technical footwear design
  • Must be able to build accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs) and translate to 3D

Hiring Range:

$96,768.00 USD - $120,960.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
