Utilizes extended and expanded skills, experience and knowledge in assessment, planning, implementation, diagnosis and evaluation of the care required within an acute care specialty. Accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. In partnership with the care team, the RN delivers holistic and individualized care to patients in an assigned specialty area. Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors. Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.Job Description:

Minimum 2 years recent Level III NICU experience required
Minimum 2 years recent neonatal transport experience preferred
Licensures and Certifications:
Registered Nurse - CA State Licensure - RN required
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider - NRP required
Neonatal IC Nursing - NNICN preferred
Basic Life Support Certification - BLS required
Skills and Knowledge:

Pay Range is $86.68 to $114.41 / hourThe compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
