About the role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst for Asset & Liability Management at an internationally active bank, responsible for managing the overall long-term funding strategy and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB). This role includes developing hedge strategies, overseeing the Funds Transfer Price (FTP) framework, and optimizing the profitability framework, including cost of equity thresholds. The ideal candidate will possess profound financial acumen, analytical expertise in statistical and forecasting methodologies, and interest in analytical tools such as DataBricks, Spark SQL, and Python. A strong data-driven approach and ability to collaborate with product teams to align financial strategies with customer-centric solutions are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan and manage liquidity and long-term funding structure, interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB), and the funds transfer pricing (FTP) framework;
• Solve advanced analytical problems using data, experience, and tools;
• Develop a comprehensive financial view of Nubank’s business as a whole;
• Support liquidity management and funding for international operations;
• Collaborate with team members and other teams in a constructive and data-driven manner.

Qualification Requirements:

• Has experience in balance sheet management, asset and liability management (ALM), or related areas;
• Has an analytical background;
• Possesses statistical and forecasting skills;
• Has knowledge of data manipulation tools (such as DataBricks, Spark SQL, Python);
• Previous experience in ALM or related areas (e.g., Treasury, Market and Liquidity Risk, Financial Planning, etc.) is a plus;
• Has an advanced level of English.
