Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Sales Director, APAC to join our Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) team. In this role, you will lead the regional business unit responsible for the entire lifecycle of IT assets from secure deployment to sustainable decommissioning and data destruction. You will be responsible for driving new business revenue growth, designing a scalable Go-To-Market strategy, and building a world-class sales organisation across the Asia Pacific region.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Drive Revenue and GTM Strategy: Accountable for new business growth across APAC by designing the regional Go-To-Market strategy, including market segmentation, account assignment, and Inside Sales technology integration to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Enforce Sales Discipline and Planning: Formulate regional Sales Plans in collaboration with Marketing and Upstream teams while enforcing "Minimum Sales Standards" and inspecting KPIs such as pipeline generation and forecast accuracy.
Lead Operational Excellence: Evaluate process and governance changes to streamline sales cycles, ensuring accurate and timely "book-to-bill" outcomes while advising clients on data security trends and industry best practices.
Cultivate a Performance Culture: Build a high-performing team by recruiting commercially minded talent, implementing robust performance management, and setting a high bar for professionalism and integrity.
Coach and Drive Innovation: Facilitate regional integration and innovation through consistent 1:1 mentorship, long-term succession planning, and encouraging creative solutions for customer programs.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
15+ years of industry and sales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing regional teams in complex, services-based B2B environments.
Expert Sales Acumen: A "hunter" mindset with proven success navigating executive-level (C-Suite) negotiations and a deep understanding of sales measurements (lead gen, close ratios).
Strategic Collaboration Skills: Demonstrated ability to navigate large global matrix organizations and work cross-functionally as a Senior Business Unit leader.
University Degree: Required for this senior-level regional leadership position.
